OUR STORY

WHO WE ARE  

Project Independence was established 47 years ago and serves hundreds of individuals throughout Orange County to build lives of true independence, even when challenged with developmental disabilities. Our core programs include Independent Living, Supported Employment, Community Day Program, Work Incentive Planning Assistance, Access to Adventure, and Healthy Living.


HOW YOU CAN HELP

We believe that adults with developmental disabilities are Different Not Less. Every day, the individuals we serve show us the power of resilience, determination, and joy. They are employees, neighbors, friends, and community members who deserve the same opportunities to live independently, find meaningful work, and thrive in their own way.
